Individual Supervision

Having a dedicated space to explore difficult cases is invaluable. Supervision offers an opportunity to slow down and reflect — to notice and connect with your own parts as they arise in your clinical work, to thoughtfully consider technical choice points, and to deepen your skill and intentionality as a therapist.

My supervision style is collaborative and compassionate. This isn’t about “what you missed,” instead it is a way to deepen the work through curiosity, perspective, and connection.

IFIO Mini-Modules

Mini Modules are designed for in-depth review of parts of the model, exploring the nuances and bridging the training material into real-world practice.

  • Getting started with couples and introducing the model, the You Turn and Tracking

  • Courageous Communication - Setting it up, grounding new reactivity, integration

  • Differentiation - recognizing and addressing the need for greater differentiation in reactivity, needs and boundaries

  • High conflict couples and anger in the room

  • Working effectively with Shame and Blame cycels

  • The Autonomic Nervous System - Creating safety and co-regulation.

I keep an interest list for Mini- Modules, please email at emily.siegel.lcswpc@gmail.com

Group Consultation

I offer group supervision for IFS and IFIO-trained therapists who want to deepen and expand the skills developed in their trainings. Group supervision builds community and provides a safe collaborative space to continue integrating the model with greater confidence and nuance.

Depending on the needs of the group, we may review sections of protocol and teaching manuals, engage in supervised practice, consult on complex cases, and tend to your own internal systems as they become activated in the work with real-life clients.

6 hr Group Consultation

Sometimes it is easier to clear a day than to schedule a monthly group supervision. If you have a group that would like to work together we can design the time to do supervised practice, cover technical questions about the model, and address some case questions.
